You made my day!

When was the last time you heard someone say to you, “You made my day!”  It was yesterday morning for me when Lindsey of Noodle Nights and Muffin Mornings (don’t you just love that name!?) left me a comment to tell me this.  How sweet!  It was a total surprise but it definitely made my day. 🙂  There are well over 100 food blogs that belong to WC Nesties with at least 5 new ones popping up every week so it has become very difficult to keep up with all of my “oldies but goodies” and all of the newer ones, which is why yesterday was the first time that I’d visited Lindsey’s blog.  You’ve got a great blog on your hands, Lindsey, and I’ve just added you to my blogroll.  Thanks again for making my day!

Annie of Annie’s Eats really puts out some of the best recipes!  Annie is a doctor-in-training and when she isn’t working hard during her rotations, she’s in the kitchen cooking and baking up a storm.  She’s a mutual lover of Williams-Sonoma recipes and some of my recent favorites of Annie’s are Herbed Focaccia Bread, Peach Pound Cake and Strawberry Cream Cheese Tart.  Yum!!

I know I’m not the first person to give this honor to Shawnda of Confections of a Foodie Bride, but I couldn’t pass her up while bestowing this honor.  Shawnda really puts out one of the most incredible food blogs I’ve seen yet.  She is a fellow TWD member and long-time Daring Baker and she isn’t afraid in the least to go out on a creative limb to bring her faithful readers some awesome-looking recipes; you MUST check out her food porn!

Slighty Cheaper than Therapy – I have been reading and enjoying this blog for a long time (thanks to Google Reader!).  The blog is written in my type of style – conversational and witty – and the food is right up my alley!
